DATA SOURCES
Data used within the AfricaWeather app is sourced from a number of data sources including observations from Airports and forecasts generated by industry leading forecast ensembles that use all major global weather models to produce the most accurate forecast available. Storm information is generated from lightning activity detected through our own high resolution lightning detection network.

Some bad moments

I dont know if the app is experiencing bugs but the forecast has been very inaccurate for at least 2 weeks. Such a pity...

I am a pilot and I really need some accurate weather apps.When I read the reviews I thought this app is amazing , but it is actually the worst app I ever seen. For instance on 17th,18th and 19th(today) of Jan 2014 , the weather in Port Alfred (EC) is clear !No cloud! But this app shows me rain for all 3days ,and overcast sky (8oktas) ! unbelievable ! For those guys who want a real accurate weather app , I would suggest you to download Yahoo weather.

Ive used this app for ages but since the latest update I cant even open the app. It just says that its expanding into Africa and then shuts down. Disappointing.

This app is reliable, accurate & best of all its South African.

Keeps giving 100% chance of rain on sunny days for Honeydew area. Every single day is a rainy day apparently? Also storm warning always says storm hit (x) minutes ago with not a drop of rain. Not helpful at all! Update to review. Since the start of 2013 not a single day without rain. Still unbelievably inaccurate. Updating before deleting the app.

I hear the temperatures are not accurate. I subscribed to the "starter" package and I know now about as much as I knew before. That was a waste of money.
